At the cusp of the 20th century, our beloved event centerwas originally owned by the Church family and part of over 27,000 acres. By 1914, a horse barn was built in commemoration of a stagecoach stop for the Overland Stage Route.
P.S. Did you know that the main building, now known as the “Great Hall”, once contained horse stalls and a training arena? Oh, how times have changed!
Eventually, the facility and the land east of our parking lot became a nursery; home to trees, shrubbery, and blooming flowers – a true sight for sore eyes. In the 1990s, the lush gardens were created, and a reception hall was developed, thus paving the path for our beautiful event center. Now it is one of the best event venues in metro Denver, Colorado creating memories of a lifetime.

Founded in 1859, it was originally named “Golden City” and became the capital of the federally recognized Colorado Territory in 1862.
